Breaking Down The Bobby Ryan Brian Burke Feud

So as everyone should know, Bobby Ryan was NOT selected for the American Olympic team and now I am rooting for Canada. After the selection was made it stir'd up some controversy in more places than this lousily blog and this is where Brian Burke comes in.

Burke is now with the Flames and is part of the USA management and he went on the record of saying some things about Bobby and why he was not chosen, here they are.

"I think we have to know what we're taking with Bobby," says Burke, who had him in Anaheim when the Ducks won the Stanley Cup in 2007.

"He's a passive guy," Burke says. And over 82 games, yes, Saad and or Pacioretty might be more attractive than Ryan. But Ryan's a game-breaker.

"He is not intense. That word is not in his vocabulary," Burke says. "It's never going to be in his vocabulary. He can't spell intense."

If he's not going to be put in a role in which he can score an important goal, use his skills as a sniper, he shouldn't go, Burke says."

Now these 2 guys have a history together, when Ryan was drafted in 2005 it was by Burke the GM of the Ducks, which leads to his next set of quotes..

— "I should have taken (Jack Johnson in the 2005 draft). No way he lets us down for 12 days."

Which I'm confused about the part of letting him down in 12 days. Was he talking about the 2010 Olympics? I'm not sure but i'm going with the Draft like the quote says. 

Now, after watching a Bobby Ryan Video last night on YouTube, I found out a lot of shit. Bobby Ryan is a fucking alias, his dad was a top 10 fugitive and was living on the run for a good part of his life. There is a 30 minute show on it on you tube and I gotta tell ya its a real tearjerker. But one clip to take out of it is from Brian Burke and here it is. 

So Bobby is a draft pick you will brag about until 2014 when people are asking why he was left off the Olympic Roster? Seems a little fishy Mr. Burke. 

Just recently Bobby has responded to the criticism and as he should but when its all said and done, hes not on the team and its BS so just stop fucking talking about the guy Burkie its not helping anything.

BTW: Here is the full documentary. Its pretty crazy shit. He is hands down on of my favorite players and I had no idea about this. His name isn't even Bobby Ryan! Must Watch.
