I don't mind Gammons as a baseball analyst, as long as he actually sticks to Baseball. Whenever someone who is dedicated to one sport and they try to make a comment about another one, especially if it is a shot at another one, hell shall ensue.
Not sure how one line fight can make a sport as a whole a "minor sport" but I can tell you hockey is growing while baseball is beginning to dissolve as Americas Past time. MLB is no where near innocent with everything that has gone on in that sport, but I don't see a Don Cherry or Berry Melrose criticizing it.
